The WFIA annual “Day at the State Capitol” is open to all members. We visit with key legislative leadership on business and food industry issues. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from leadership speakers, learn more about your government and the legislative process, represent our industry, and have your voice heard. Join us at the Capitol Campus on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 followed by a luncheon at the Governor's Mansion.
We make appointments with your local legislators, team you up with other members, brief you on current issues, and send you off to have a great time lending your voice to the advocacy of the well-being of the independent grocery and convenience store industry.

9:00 am - Briefing
10:00 am - Legislative Appointments
12:00 pm - Legislative Luncheon
1:30 pm - Legislative Appointments
Hotel reservations: Hotel rooms have been blocked at the Governor Hotel. The hotel is located on the DASH bus line and is within walking distance to the Capitol. Booking deadline is January 27, 2019.
